Happy 1st day of Summer friends!
So, it’s pretty apparent that my Blog is sad and neglected as of late. =P I really, truly am planning on remedying that soon! (I know I sound like a broken record but…) I get a lot of clients that find my Blog via Google and say “I love your work!” and I think to myself “Man some of that stuff is really old!” It seems really silly of me to not keep showcasing my cute clients here! I promise to do that soon.
In the meantime, the Millers have been really busy with LIFE. :) And lacrosse. Those two words are one in the same for our Springs & Summers. Also, our oldest is graduating from 5th grade in a few days, leaving her elementary school ‘career’ behind. Funny, since it seems like it just got started. Ever onward. This is life. Bittersweet at most times it would appear.
I’ve been clearing off my seriously backed-up camera cards and folders of unedited pictures this week to make a fresh start for Summer. Here’s some random Miller fun, both on the lacrosse field and off. I think most times I am hesitant to post personal photos because if we are friends on Facebook, this is going to be repetitive and b-o-r-i-n-g. But if we’re not well then, have fun peeking in & thanks for stopping by!
Starting back on Mother’s Day… My kids and me with my Grandma.
Annual Mother’s Day shot with my Mom.
Mother’s Day morning with my kids, straight off the lacrosse field.
Drew #15
Emily AKA Crazy Socks #22
My girls helped me plant flowers in the front yard.
The kids kept busy in the sprinklers until we opened our pool.
Emily went on her big 5th grade field trip to Medieval Times. Her father was one of the chaperones.
Happy Memorial Day!
The girls marched in the parade. Emily with the school band, Grace with her Daisy troop.
Art Show @ school. Emily’s projects are in the top row (her painted yellow bird was displayed in the public library as well), Andrew in the middle and Grace at the bottom.
The entire Kindergarten had a Teddy Bear Picnic and Daddy showed up as a special guest.
Pool is open!
Andrew plays his French Horn in the 4th grade Spring concert.
Field Day! First and last time all 3 Millers will participate in one together.
We interrupt for more lacrosse shots.
Yes Grace got to take the field for Lacrosse Day! Next year her team will move from clinics to playing games.
Andrew helps his father re-paint the deck.
This cute boy skipped hanging out with his travel lacrosse team overnight in Pennsylvania to go see both of his sisters dance in their recital. <3 Instead, his father and him got up at 6am, made the 2.5+ hour drive to the fields, played in 5 games (! – they advanced all the way to the finals) and then drove back home. Best brother ever.
Our dance recital weekend is 3 days long consisting of 2 dress rehearsals and 5 shows. This dance mom loves it. ;)
A few shots of our beautiful dancers on stage.
Grandma turns 95!
Happy Father’s Day!
My parents with the grandkids.
Annual Father’s Day shot with my Dad.
Yup. Still sweating on the lax field.
In the midst of our daily chaos, this boy needed an emergency oral surgery on an abscessed tooth. Check out the size of that sucker!
The pupster poking her head in to say hi and show off her new bandana after a day at the groomers.
Grace’s annual Summer tan is upon us.
Emily receives her yearbook at school. The days are winding down…
The above picture is made all the more sadder when I do a Throwback Thursday side-by-side of her graduating pre-school and her graduating 5th grade. Ugh.
Emily goes to the 5th grade party and has a blast.
Of course, Mommy was there as a courtesy to snap some pics of the kids. ;)
That brings us to this weekend, our one June weekend without lacrosse fields (so Mr. Miller and I are throwing in a Zac Brown Band concert instead!) Emily graduates this week so the Emily Picture Show will continue on Facebook as we celebrate her success and kick-start Summer!
Stay cool!
