got cake? | long island childrens photographer | cake smash

This super-ADORABLE little boy just turned one and came to visit me for a cake smashing session yesterday. It was a lot of fun! He was more interested in painting the floor with a frosting-covered fork then he was eating the cake. In fact, I don’t think he actually ATE any crumb of cake. LOL! He did lick some frosting though. ;)

First, a picture before a buttercream mess ensued.

He’s gorgeous, isn’t he?

Then we move on to some cake…

(The above is one of my favorites from the batch!)

“Hmmm… maybe this won’t be so bad…”

The disaster of a cake that’s left at the end of a smash never fails to make me laugh.

I went with a very soft, vintage process on these. I thought it worked well with his cute little jeans.

And finally, a fun storyboard (this is 20×20 !) so you can see the smash all in one glance.

Happy 1st Birthday Santino, you little munchkin!
